Why Envision

Why competitive players choose Envision for online chess coaching in India.

Not a set of loose classes. A structured path, a coach who knows where your child is, and a portal that shows you the progress.

A real curriculum, not ad-hoc lessons

Five stages, fifteen levels and 240 taught sessions, from the first move through to Masters. Every level is sixteen sessions across two months.

Your child starts at the right level

A free assessment with a coach places them at the exact session to begin from, rather than a generic beginner slot.

Everything in one portal

Live classes, homework, tournaments, coach feedback, progress reports, invoices and payments behind a single login.

Feedback every week

Coaches review submitted homework and answer questions between classes, so nothing waits until the next session.

Competition is built in

Weekly academy tournaments with real pairings, live games, results and leaderboards - not just practice games.

Parents can see all of it

Attendance, assignment scores, tournament results and fee history are visible to parents, not only to the student.

Questions

Common questions about this pro chess course.

Who should join the Envision Pro Chess Course?

A competitive player who already has a tactical foundation and an endgame and opening base, and now needs depth of calculation. It assumes the intermediate and advanced stages are behind you, and is aimed at players competing in rated events.

Is the Pro Course suitable for FIDE-rated chess players?

Yes. The syllabus is built around the calculation depth rated games demand - sacrificial attacks, multi-move combinations and every standard motif in its hardest form, up to mate in four.

Do you provide online chess coaching in India?

Yes. Classes are live and online, so students anywhere in India join from the academy portal. Envision also runs four centres in Kolkata for students who prefer to attend in person.

Can online chess coaching help improve my FIDE rating?

The course targets what rated games are usually decided by at this level: whether you find the combination and calculate it accurately. Rating gains depend on the player and how much they compete, so no coach can promise a number, but the training is built for competitive rather than casual play.

Does the Pro Course include opening repertoire training?

Opening repertoire is taught in the Advanced (Semi Pro) stage before this one - the Italian, Ruy Lopez, Queen's Gambit and London as White, and classical open games and the Sicilian as Black. The Pro Course builds on that foundation and concentrates entirely on calculation and combinations.

Is individual chess coaching available?

Yes. Students can be enrolled in group batches or one-to-one coaching, and the demo assessment covers which format suits the player.

How are students placed into the Pro Course?

Through a free assessment class. A coach reviews the student's current level and recommends the exact session to start from, so a strong player is not made to repeat earlier stages.

How long does the Pro stage take?

48 sessions across three levels of sixteen. At two classes a week that is about two months per level, so roughly six months for the full stage.
